प्रत्यक्षदर्शी लोकस्य तिर्यगूर्ध्यमधस्तथा । सांख्ययोगविभागज्ञो निर्विवित्सु: सुरासुरान्‌ू

Transliteration

pratyakṣadarśī lokasya tiryagūrdhvamadhastathā | sāṅkhyayogavibhāgajño nirvivitsuḥ surāsurān |

Translation

Вайшампаяна сказал: Он непосредственно созерцал мир во всех его измерениях — поперёк, ввысь и вниз. Зная различия между санкхьей и йогой, он оставался свободен от жажды состязаться с богами или асурами, стоя в стороне от соперничества и стремления властвовать.
