स हि धर्म पुरस्कृत्य दीर्घदर्शी परं हितम्‌ । उभयो: पक्षयोरयुक्तिं वक्ष्यत्यर्थविनिश्वयम्‌

Transliteration

sa hi dharma-puraskṛtya dīrgha-darśī paraṁ hitam | ubhayoḥ pakṣayor ayuktiṁ vakṣyaty artha-viniścayam ||

Translation

Дхритараштра сказал: «Ибо Видура ставит дхарму впереди и видит далеко. Имея в виду высшее благо, он укажет надлежащий путь для обеих сторон и вынесет решающее суждение о том, что следует сделать».
