अर्जुनस्य दिग्विजयारम्भः — Arjuna Initiates the Northern Campaign and Secures Bhagadattta’s Tribute

उभौ कट्यां सुपाश्चे तु तक्षवन्तौ च शिक्षितौ । अधोहस्तं स्वकण्ठे तूदरस्योरसि चाक्षिपत्‌,इसी प्रकार कमरमें और बगलमें भी हाथ लगाकर दोनों प्रतिद्वन्द्ीको पछाड़नेकी चेष्टा करते थे। अपने शरीरको सिकोड़कर शत्रुकी पकड़से छूट जानेकी कला दोनों जानते थे। दोनों ही मल्लयुद्धकी शिक्षामें प्रवीण थे। वे उदरके नीचे हाथ लगाकर दोनों हाथोंसे पेटको लपेट लेते और विपक्षीको कण्ठ एवं छातीतक ऊँचे उठाकर धरतीपर दे मारते थे

Сказал Шри Кришна: оба бойца были хорошо обучены и искусны в приёмах борьбы — хватали за талию и бока, ускользали, сжимая тело, и накладывали мощные захваты. Они заводили руки под живот противника, запирали середину туловища обеими руками, затем поднимали соперника до уровня горла и груди и швыряли его на землю.
