यौ तावर्जुन शिष्यौ ते प्रियौ बहुमतौ सदा,इति श्रीमहा भारते मौसलपर्वणि अर्जुनवसुदेवसंवादे षष्ठो5ध्याय:
yau tāv arjuna śiṣyau te priyau bahumatāu sadā | iti śrīmahābhārate mauśalaparvaṇi arjunavasudevasaṃvāde ṣaṣṭho 'dhyāyaḥ ||
Васудева сказал: «Те двое твоих учеников, Арджуна, всегда были тебе дороги и высоко тобой почитались». Так в «Махабхарате», в «Маусала-парве», в беседе Арджуны и Васудевы завершается шестая глава.
वसुदेव उवाच
The verse highlights the ethical value of honoring worthy disciples: affection (priya) and esteem (bahumata) are presented as enduring bonds grounded in recognition of merit and loyalty.
Vasudeva addresses Arjuna, referring to “those two disciples” who are dear and respected by him; the line is followed by a colophon marking the end of the sixth chapter of the Mausala Parva within the Arjuna–Vasudeva dialogue.
