युद्धे हि निहतः शूरो विसृजन्‌ सायकान्‌ बहून्‌

Transliteration

yuddhe hi nihataḥ śūro visṛjan sāyakān bahūn

Translation

Дхритараштра сказал: «Для героя быть сражённым в битве, всё ещё осыпая врага множеством стрел, — поистине благородный конец: пасть в самом действии боя, не отступив ни от мужества, ни от долга.»
