अथान्यैर्बहुभिर्भल्लै: शिरांस्पेषामपातयत्‌ । रोषसंरक्तनेत्राणि संदष्टौष्ठानि भूतले

Transliteration

athānyair bahubhir bhallaiḥ śirāṃs teṣām apātayat | roṣa-saṃrakta-netrāṇi saṃdaṣṭauṣṭhāni bhūtale ||

Translation

Санджая сказал: Затем множеством иных широколезвийных стрел он сразил их головы, и те пали на землю — глаза, налитые яростью, губы, стиснутые до боли. Картина эта показывает, как гнев, выпущенный на волю в войне, каменеет в сердце и превращает живых в мрачные знаки насилия.
