patitair nipatadbhir viśvaṃ gajair hemavibhūṣitaiḥ

Translation

Санджая сказал: Всё поле казалось заваленным слонами — одни уже пали, другие ещё валились, — украшенными золотыми уборами; их пышные доспехи и убранство теперь стали знаками гибели среди ярости войны.
