कर्ण जानामि ते वीर्य सौहृदं परमं मयि । तथापि त्वां महाबाहो प्रवक्ष्यामि हितं वच:,“कर्ण! मैं तुम्हारे पराक्रमको जानता हूँ और यह भी अनुभव करता हूँ कि मेरे प्रति तुम्हारा स्नेह बहुत अधिक है। महाबाहो! तथापि मैं तुमसे अपने हितकी बात कहना चाहता हूँ

Transliteration

karṇa jānāmi te vīryaṃ sauhṛdaṃ paramaṃ mayi | tathāpi tvāṃ mahābāho pravakṣyāmi hitaṃ vacaḥ ||

Translation

Санджая сказал: «Карна, я знаю твою доблесть и также вижу глубокую привязанность, которую ты питаешь ко мне. И всё же, о могучерукий, я скажу тебе слова, что будут тебе во благо».
