मनुष्यशीर्षपाषाणां शक्तिमीनां गदोडुपाम् । उष्णीषफेनवसनां विकीर्णान्त्रसरीसृपाम्
sañjaya uvāca |
manuṣyaśīrṣapāṣāṇāṁ śaktimīnāṁ gadodupām |
uṣṇīṣaphenavasanāṁ vikīrṇāntrasarīsṛpām ||
Санджая сказал: На том поле брани вздымалась страшная река резни: человеческие головы казались камнями на дне; копья двигались, как рыбы; булавы были словно лодьи на поверхности; тюрбаны и одежды сверкали, как пена; а разбросанные внутренности извивались, как змеи.
