भीष्मपर्व — अध्याय ९६: सौभद्रस्य आक्रमणम्, अलम्बुसस्य प्रतिविधानम्
Abhimanyu’s assault; Alambusa’s counter-engagement
नाराचनिहतास्त्वन्ये तथा विद्धाश्ष तोमरै: । विनदन्तो< भ्यधावन्त विशूंगा इव पर्वता:
nārācani-hatās tv anye tathā viddhāś ca tomaraiḥ | vinadanto 'bhyadhāvanta viśūṅgā iva parvatāḥ ||
Санджая сказал: Одни были сражены железными стрелами (нарача), другие же пронзены копьями (томара). Ревя во весь голос, они ринулись вперёд — словно горы, лишённые своих вершин; и хотя оружие ломало их тела, они всё же теснили в ярости битвы.
