Adhyāya 69: Strategic duels under Bhīṣma’s command

तेषां वधार्थ भगवान् नरेण सहितो वशी । मानुषीं योनिमास्थाय चरिष्यति महीतले,“उन सबका वध करनेके लिये सबको वशमें करनेवाले भगवान् नारायण नरके साथ मनुष्ययोनिमें अवतीर्ण होकर भूतलपर विचरेंगे
teṣāṁ vadhārthaṁ bhagavān nareṇa sahito vaśī | mānuṣīṁ yonim āsthāya cariṣyati mahītale ||
Бхишма сказал: «Чтобы истребить их, Благословенный Владыка — владеющий собой и повелитель всего — примет человеческое рождение вместе с Нарой и будет странствовать по земле.»
