भीष्मस्य भीमसेन-निरोधः
Bhīṣma checks Bhīmasena; matched engagements intensify
पृथिवी निर्भया देव त्वत्प्रसादात्ू सदाभवत् । तस्माद् भव विशालाक्ष यदुवंशविवर्धन:,देव! आपके ही प्रसादसे पृथ्वी सदा निर्भय रही है, इसलिये विशाललोचन! आप पुनः पृथ्वीपर यदुवंशमें अवतार लेकर उसकी कीर्ति बढ़ाइये
pṛthivī nirbhayā deva tvatprasādāt sadābhavat | tasmād bhava viśālākṣa yaduvaṁśavivardhanaḥ ||
Бхишма сказал: «О Господь, по твоей милости земля всегда пребывала без страха. Потому, о широкоглазый, стань вновь умножителем рода Яду: родись на земле еще раз и приумножь его славу».
