प्रावर्तत ततो युद्ध तुमुलं लोमहर्षणम् । अस्माकं पाण्डवै: सार्थमनयात् तव भारत,भारत! तदनन्तर आपके अन्यायसे हमलोगोंका पाण्डवोंके साथ रोमांचकारी भयंकर संग्राम होने लगा
prāvartata tato yuddhaṃ tumulaṃ lomaharṣaṇam | asmākaṃ pāṇḍavaiḥ sārtham anayāt tava bhārata bhārata ||
Санджая сказал: Тогда разгорелась бурная, волосы дыбом поднимающая битва между нашими силами и Пандавами — столкновение, о Бхарата, возникшее как следствие избранного тобою пути. Война перешла от советов и притязаний к прямому, страшному бою, неся на себе нравственную тяжесть ответственности за несправедливость, что привела к ней.
