रथानीकान्यदृश्यन्त नगराणीव भूरिश: । अतीव शुशुभे तत्र पिता ते पूर्णचन्द्रवत्
sañjaya uvāca | rathānīkāny adṛśyanta nagarāṇīva bhūriśaḥ | atīva śuśubhe tatra pitā te pūrṇacandravat |
Санджая сказал: Взору открылись необъятные массы колесничных построений, по величине и плотности подобные городам. В их средоточии твой пращур Бхишма сиял необычайно — лучезарный, как полная луна, — стоя как главный знак мощи и несгибаемой решимости войска Куру накануне битвы.
