Transliteration

śvetōṣṇīṣaṃ śvetahayaṃ śvetavarmāṇam acyutam | apaśyāma mahārāja bhīṣmaṃ candram ivoditam ||

Translation

Санджая сказал: «О великий царь, я видел Бхишму — в белом тюрбане, на белых конях и в белых доспехах — сияющего, словно только что взошедшая луна. Так, облачённый в безупречную белизну, этот неколебимый хранитель приличий и долга явился на поле брани лучезарным.»
