Transliteration

sampatantam abhiprekṣya mahātmānaṃ pitāmaham

Translation

Санджая сказал: Увидев, как великий духом Питамаха Бхишма стремительно бросается в самую сечу, они не отрывали от него взгляда — словно сама почтенная власть нисходила в ярость войны, где даже самый чтимый обязан действовать согласно избранной им дхарме, своему долгу.
