ऋषभा: शास्त्रपठितास्तथा जलचराश्न ये । सर्वास्तानभ्ययुग्जंस्ते तत्राग्निचयकर्मणि
ṛṣabhāḥ śāstrapaṭhitās tathā jalacarāś ca ye | sarvāṁs tān abhyayujjaṁs te tatrāgnicayakarmaṇi ||
Вайшампаяна сказал: Те «быки среди людей», сведущие в шастрах, а также те, кто был связан с водами, — все они были должным образом привлечены там к обряду возведения священного огненного алтаря (агни-чая). Так каждому достойному разряду была назначена надлежащая роль в жертвенном деле, согласно предписанному правилу и порядку.
