ततस्तृतीये दिवसे सत्यवत्यात्मजो मुनि:
tatas tṛtīye divase satyavatyātmajo muniḥ
Затем, на третий день, мудрец, сын Сатьявати (Вьяса), [явился/вступил в действие], продолжая разворачивать события с властью провидца; само его присутствие знаменовало решающий поворот повествования.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights the narrative and ethical weight carried by a muni’s intervention: when a realized sage enters the scene, events are framed under dharma and higher insight, reminding listeners that power and ritual should be guided by wisdom and restraint.
A time marker is given—“on the third day”—and the arrival/role of Satyavatī’s son, the sage Vyāsa, is signaled, indicating a significant development is about to occur under his authoritative presence.
