vadhyamāneṣu teṣv ājau gāndhāreṣu samantataḥ

Translation

Вайшампаяна сказал: Когда те воины Гандхары падали в сече со всех сторон, поле брани стало зрелищем неумолимой резни — образом сурового напора войны, где долг битвы совершается среди повсеместных страданий.
