इत्युक्त: स तथेत्युक्त्वा पूजयामास तं इयम् । फाल्गुनं च युधि श्रेष्ठ विधिवत् सहदेवज:,उनके ऐसा कहनेपर सहदेवपुत्रने 'बहुत अच्छा” कहकर उनकी आज्ञा शिरोधार्य की और उस घोड़े तथा युद्धस्थलके श्रेष्ठ वीर अर्जुनका विधिपूर्वक पूजन किया
ity uktaḥ sa tathety uktvā pūjayāmāsa taṃ hayam | phālgunaṃ ca yudhi-śreṣṭhaṃ vidhivat sahadeva-jaḥ ||
Вайшампаяна сказал: Услышав это, он ответил: «Да будет так», с должным почтением принял повеление и затем, по установленному обряду, воздал почести тому коню и также Фалгуне (Арджуне), первейшему герою на поле брани.
