तस्य शान्तिमकृत्वा त्वं त्यजेथा यदि जीवितम्‌

Transliteration

tasya śāntim akṛtvā tvaṁ tyajethā yadi jīvitam

Translation

Арджуна сказал: «Если бы ты, не даровав ему прежде мира и примирения, отказался от жизни, это было бы тяжким нравственным падением по дхарме; нельзя оставлять жизнь, когда смута другого ещё не улажена».
