Babhruvāhana’s Lament and Appeal for Expiation (प्रायश्चित्त-याचना)
तस्मादसि मया पुत्र युद्धाय परिचोदित: । मा पापमात्मन: पुत्र शड़केथा हाण्वपि प्रभो
tasmād asi mayā putra yuddhāya paricoditaḥ | mā pāpam ātmanaḥ putra śaṅkethā hāṇv api prabho ||
«Потому, сын мой, это я побудил тебя идти в битву. Не допускай для себя и малейшего страха греха — о сын, о могучий!»
