Transliteration

akṣauhiṇībhiḥ śiṣṭābhir navabhir ṛddhijasattamaḥ | saṃvṛtaḥ samarāślāghī guptaḥ kṛpavṛṣādibhiḥ ||

Translation

Васудева сказал: «Тот, наипервейший среди благоденствующих, был со всех сторон окружён девятью акшаухини, что ещё оставались. Хотя сам он жаждал битвы и гордился сражением, его непрестанно оберегали Крипа и Вриша (Карна) и другие».
