Adhyātma-Upadeśa
यावद् रथपथस्तावदू रथेन स तु गच्छति । क्षीणे रथपदे विद्वान् रथमुत्सूज्य गच्छति
yāvad rathapathas tāvadū rathena sa tu gacchati | kṣīṇe rathapade vidvān ratham utsṛjya gacchati |
Ваю сказал: «Пока есть колесничная дорога, идут на колеснице. Когда след колесничного пути иссякает, мудрый оставляет колесницу и идёт пешком. Так же и глупый путник цепляется за одно средство и страдает, когда меняется местность; а рассудительный сообразует способ с пределами пути».
