बहूनपि हि संकल्पान्‌ मत्वा स्वप्लानुपास्य च बुभुक्षया पीड्यमानो विषयानेव धावति,बहुत-से संकल्पोंका मनन और स्वप्लोंका आश्रय लेकर भोग भोगनेकी इच्छासे पीड़ित हुआ प्राणी विषयोंकी ओर ही दौड़ता है

Transliteration

bahūn api hi saṅkalpān matvā svaplān upāsya ca bubhukṣayā pīḍyamāno viṣayān eva dhāvati

Translation

Ибо человек, взлелеяв множество намерений и прильнув к мечтам, — терзаемый жаждой наслаждения — бежит лишь к предметам чувств. Ум показывает, как желание, вскормленное воображаемыми планами и сновидными проекциями, уводит от устойчивости и ввергает в погоню за мимолётными удовольствиями.
