ततस्तदौषधीनां च वीरुधां पुष्पपत्रजम्‌ । सर्व वर्षाभिनिर्वत्तमन्न॑ं सम्भवति प्रभो

Transliteration

tatastad-auṣadhīnāṁ ca vīrudhāṁ puṣpa-patrajam | sarva-varṣābhinirvattam annaṁ sambhavati prabho ||

Translation

Бхишма сказал: «Из той (дождевой воды) возникают многие виды целебных трав и вьющихся растений, а также их цветы и листья. О Владыка, в целом все разновидности зерна и пищи появляются благодаря водам дождей.»
