Śrāddha-Kalpa: Pitṛ-Pūjā and Tithi-Phala (श्राद्धकल्पः पितृपूजा च तिथिफलम्)
तदपत्यं हि युवयोर्देवानभिभवेद् ध्रुवम् । नहि ते पृथिवी देवी न च द्यौर्न दिवं विभो
tadapatyaṃ hi yuvayor devān abhibhaved dhruvam | nahi te pṛthivī devī na ca dyaur na divaṃ vibho |
Бхишма сказал: «Сын, рождённый от вас двоих, несомненно одолеет даже богов. О Владыка, мы твёрдо убеждены: ни богиня Земля, ни небосвод, ни само небо не в силах вынести мощь твоего сияния. Даже все вместе они не смогли бы его удержать; весь мир обратился бы в пепел от удара твоего блеска.»
