तत एव पुनश्चापि गतः स्वर्गमिति श्रुतम् राज्ञा वसुमता सार्थमष्टकेन च वीर्यवान्
tata eva punaścāpi gataḥ svargam iti śrutam rājñā vasumatā sārtham aṣṭakena ca vīryavān
Вайшампаяна сказал: Слышно, что с того самого места доблестный вновь вознесся на небеса вместе с царем Васуматом и с Аштака.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights the Itihāsa theme that sustained virtue and meritorious action lead to heavenly attainment; the tradition remembers exemplary figures as reaching Svarga through their vīrya and puṇya.
