Transliteration

taccharair arjuno varṣaṃ pratijaghne ’tyamarṣitaḥ |

Translation

Вайшампаяна сказал: Арджуна, разгневанный сверх меры, встретил тот каменный ливень своими стрелами и сокрушил его. Увидев, что его камнепад оказался тщетным, Индра — владыка богов, совершивший сто жертвоприношений, — вновь обрушил еще более тяжкий дождь камней.
