Transliteration

na tu kevaladaivena prajā bhāvena remire | yad babhūva manaḥkāntaṃ karmaṇā sa cakāra tat |

Translation

Вайшампаяна сказал: Народ радовался не только по воле судьбы или из-за удачи; радость жила в самом сердце. Что было мило их помыслам, то царь осуществлял делом. Потому их довольство рождалось не лишь от царской защиты, но и от искреннего доверия и преданности ему.
