उत्तमां च मनोबुद्धिं भवतां भावितात्मनाम् | जानन्नपि च व: पार्थ कृतवानिह धर्षणाम्,आपलोगोंका अन्त:करण शुद्ध है, मन और बुद्धि भी उत्तम है। पार्थ! आपके विषयमें यह सब कुछ जानते हुए भी मैंने यहाँ आक्रमण किया था
uttamāṃ ca manobuddhiṃ bhavatāṃ bhāvitātmanām | jānann api ca vaḥ pārtha kṛtavān iha dharṣaṇām ||
