Transliteration

bhīṣmasya cāsya vacanān niyogāc ca mamānagha | anukrośāc ca bhūtānāṃ sarveṣāṃ rakṣaṇāya ca ||

Translation

Вайшампаяна сказал: «О безгрешный, это было предпринято в повиновение словам Бхишмы и по моему поручению, а также из сострадания ко всем живым существам и ради защиты всех».
