FAQs

This verse presents Vyāsa as a manifestation of Viṣṇu, emphasizing that the organization and preservation of Vedic knowledge is a divine act meant to sustain dharma across ages.

It explains that Viṣṇu took birth through Parāśara and Satyavatī as Vyāsa and, with disciples like Paila, arranged the Veda into divisions so the teachings could be learned and carried forward reliably.

Treat scripture-study and ethical living as a disciplined tradition: learn from authentic teachers, preserve texts carefully, and apply dharma consistently rather than selectively.
