Transliteration

tataḥ puruṣa-medhena hariścandro mahā-yaśāḥ muktodaro ’yajad devān varuṇādīn mahat-kathaḥ

Translation

Затем прославленный царь Харишчандра совершил великое жертвоприношение пуруша-медха, почтив богов во главе с Варуной. Так исцелилась водянка, насланная Варуной, и божества были удовлетворены.
