Transliteration

vacanād deva-devasya viṣṇor viśvātmanaḥ prabhoḥ vāhanatve vṛtas tasya babhūvendro mahā-vṛṣaḥ

Translation

По повелению Вишну, Бога богов и Души вселенной, Индра согласился стать его ваханой и принял облик великого быка. Пуранджая согласился истребить дайтьев при условии, что Индра будет его носителем.
