Kṛṣṇa Enters Mathurā: City Splendor, Devotees’ Reception, and the Washerman’s Fate

This verse teaches that the dust of Śrī Kṛṣṇa’s lotus feet is supremely purifying—so powerful that it sanctifies a devotee’s home and brings satisfaction to the Pitṛs, the sacred fires, and the demigods.
After offering his devotion and service, the garland-maker prays for Kṛṣṇa’s presence and blessing, recognizing that contact with Kṛṣṇa (even His foot-dust) is the highest purification for ordinary householders.
Invite sanctity into home life through sincere devotion—remembering Kṛṣṇa, worship, and serving devotees—understanding that spiritual purity is deeper than external cleanliness and uplifts both family life and one’s sacred duties.
