Transliteration

aho ubhayataḥ prāptaṁ lokasya vyasanaṁ mahat dāruṇy ubhayato dīpte iva taskara-pālayoḥ

Translation

Увы! Народ оказался в великой беде с обеих сторон — как муравьи посреди полена, пылающего с двух концов. Так и тогда: с одной стороны безответственный царь, с другой — воры и разбойники.
