Sukta 1
यत् त्वा सोम प्रपिबन्ति तत आ प्यायसे पुनः । वायुः सोमस्य रक्षिता समानां मास आकृतिः
yát tvā sóma prapíbanti tátá ā́ pyāyase púnaḥ | vāyúḥ sómasya rakṣitā́ samā́nāṃ mā́sa ā́kṛtiḥ ||
When they drink thee, O Soma, therefrom thou swellest full again. Vāyu is Soma’s guardian; the month is the form of the equal-running days.
Когда тебя пьют, о Сома, оттого ты вновь наполняешься и разрастаешься. Ваю — хранитель Сомы; месяц — образ дней, бегущих равным ходом.
