Niścara e Agnitejas; Vapuṣmān, Viṣṇu e Āruṇi; Haviṣmān e o imaculado Anagha—estes são os sete sábios (Saptarṣis) do Manvantara Bhavya.
Sage Parāśara (narrating to Maitreya)
They are the seven prime seers appointed for each Manvantara, preserving Vedic knowledge and stabilizing dharma so the cosmic age functions in order.
By naming the Saptarishis specific to the Bhavya Manvantara, Parāśara shows that each cosmic age has its own ordained spiritual governors who uphold the world’s rhythm.
Here “Viṣṇu” functions as a rishi-name, yet it also echoes the Purāṇic theme that all cosmic offices ultimately operate under the Supreme Viṣṇu’s sovereignty.
