नारायण उवाच एवं भवतु दैद्येन्द्र पापं ते यातु संक्षयम् द्वितीयं प्रार्थय वरं तं ददामि तवासुर
nārāyaṇa uvāca evaṃ bhavatu daidyendra pāpaṃ te yātu saṃkṣayam dvitīyaṃ prārthaya varaṃ taṃ dadāmi tavāsura
Nārāyaṇa disse: «Assim seja, ó senhor dos Daityas; que o teu pecado chegue ao fim. Pede um segundo dom — eu o concederei a ti, ó Asura.»
