Kuru’s Consecration and the Sanctification of Samantapañcaka (Kurukshetra)
सहस्रधा ततश्छिद्य दत्तो युष्माकमेव हि ततः सव्यो भुजो राज्ञा दत्तश् छिन्नो ऽप्यसौ मया
sahasradhā tataśchidya datto yuṣmākameva hi tataḥ savyo bhujo rājñā dattaś chinno 'pyasau mayā
Então, tendo-o cortado em mil pedaços, ele foi de fato dado a vós. Depois disso, o rei ofereceu também o seu braço esquerdo — embora este igualmente tenha sido decepado por mim.
