Yogatattva

In that (principle) there was a quivering, as of water; there the I-notion (ahaṃkṛti) arose. The embodied mass (piṇḍa) became fivefold in nature, bound by the bodily constituents (dhātus) and constituted of the guṇas.

Ahaṃkāra (ego-sense) and the emergence of the body-mind from prakṛti/guṇasMahavakya: Indirectly supports “ahaṃ brahmāsmi” by distinguishing the arising ego/body from the underlying reality; points to disidentification from ahaṃkāra.Krishna YajurvedaChandas: Anuṣṭubh (śloka)
