Verse 13

Yagyavalkya

ईश्वरो जीवकलया प्रविष्टो भगवानिति । प्रणमेद्दण्डवद्भूमावाश्वचण्डालगोखरम् ॥१३॥

ईश्वरः । जीव-कलया । प्रविष्टः । भगवान् । इति । प्रणमेत् । दण्डवत् । भूमौ । अश्व-चण्डाल-गो-खरम् ॥१३॥

īśvaro jīvakalayā praviṣṭo bhagavān iti | praṇamed daṇḍavad bhūmāv aśva-caṇḍāla-go-kharam ||13||

Sabendo que o Senhor, como uma porção (kalā) da alma individual, entrou em todos os seres como o Bem‑aventurado, deve-se prostrar-se no chão diante de todos, seja cavalo, pária, vaca ou jumento.

Knowing that the Lord, as a portion (kalā) of the individual soul, has entered (all beings) as the Blessed One—one should bow down prostrate on the ground to (all), whether horse, outcaste, cow, or donkey.
