Account of the Twelve Jyotirliṅga Manifestations
Suta Goswami
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Mahādeva
It declares that Jyotirliṅga darśana and pūjā are direct, grace-filled means to attain both worldly bliss and final liberation, emphasizing Shiva as Pati (the liberating Lord).
The Jyotirliṅga is Shiva’s accessible, saguna revelation as light; approaching it through darśana and worship is presented as a reliable path where Shiva’s anugraha (grace) culminates in mukti.
Perform Jyotirliṅga darśana with reverence and offer simple Liṅga-pūjā (water, bilva leaves, mantra such as Om Namaḥ Śivāya), holding the intent of surrender and liberation.
