उपमन्युकुमारस्य क्षीरार्थ-प्रार्थना तथा शिवप्रसाद-निबन्धनम् | Upamanyu’s Longing for Milk and the Doctrine of Shiva’s Grace
अथोपमन्युरानन्दसमुद्रोर्मिभिरावृतः । पपात दण्डवद्भूमौ भक्तिनम्रेण चेतसा
athopamanyurānandasamudrormibhirāvṛtaḥ | papāta daṇḍavadbhūmau bhaktinamreṇa cetasā
Então Upamanyu, envolto por onda após onda do oceano de bem-aventurança, caiu por terra como um bastão; sua mente se curvou, humilde em bhakti, ao Senhor Śiva.
