Por alguma falha nascida de ações passadas, este chegou a tal condição. Depois de experimentar e esgotar esse fruto kármico, alcançará o bem supremo pela Tua graça.
Suta Goswami (narrating the puranic teaching on karma and Shiva’s grace within the Shatarudrasaṃhitā context)
Tattva Level: pasha
Sthala Purana: General doctrinal statement on karmic defect (karmadoṣa) and its exhaustion (bhoga) culminating in the highest good by Śiva’s grace; not tied to a specific shrine.
Significance: Encourages pilgrims/devotees to interpret suffering as karmic fruition under divine governance, cultivating patience and reliance on Śiva’s anugraha for mokṣa.
Role: liberating
It teaches that suffering can be the ripening of past karma, and that after karma is exhausted, the soul attains the highest good chiefly through Shiva’s grace (anugraha), aligning with Shaiva emphasis on divine intervention alongside moral causality.
It implies that turning to Saguna Shiva—worshiping the Linga with devotion—invokes anugraha, by which karmic bondage is loosened and the devotee is led toward śreyaḥ (ultimate auspicious liberation).
Endure karmic results with remembrance of Shiva and steady bhakti; practically, this aligns with daily Panchakshara japa (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) and Linga-pūjā as grace-oriented disciplines.
