Desejando obtê-la, ele foi à morada de seu pai — o rei Anaraṇya. Viajante dos mundos e perspicaz conhecedor dos princípios que regem a vida e a sociedade, pôs-se a caminho para lá.

The verse highlights a seeker’s deliberate movement toward rightful guidance (approaching the father-king), emphasizing viveka (discernment) and dharmic orientation as supportive conditions for turning life toward Shiva and liberation.
Though the verse is narrative, it frames the Shaiva approach: one seeks proper instruction and auspicious association before undertaking vows, pilgrimages, or Linga-upasana—outer movement guided by inner discernment toward Saguna Shiva worship that matures into knowledge of the Supreme.
The immediate takeaway is “seek right counsel and set intention” before practice; traditionally this aligns with beginning worship with sankalpa, then steady japa of the Panchakshara (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) under guidance.
