Por intermédio daqueles grandes ṛṣis, a potência de Śambhu foi transmitida à filha de Gautama; e, do mesmo modo, pela via do ouvido, foi implantada em Añjanā, para o cumprimento do propósito sagrado de Rāma.

It highlights Śiva’s anugraha (grace): the Lord’s power can be conveyed through enlightened sages and established in a worthy recipient to accomplish dharma. From a Shaiva Siddhanta lens, Pati (Śiva) remains the supreme source, directing events for the restoration of cosmic order.
The verse presents Śambhu as Saguna—actively guiding the world through purposeful manifestations of His śakti. Linga worship trains the devotee to recognize this same Lord as both transcendent and immanent, whose grace can ‘enter’ life through sanctified channels like sages, mantra, and sacred hearing.
Śravaṇa (devotional listening) is implied by “through the ear”: hearing Shiva-kathā and mantra with faith is a primary practice. A practical takeaway is daily recitation/listening of the Panchakshara (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) and Shiva Purana passages as a disciplined form of bhakti and inner purification.
