वत्सं कीले स्वयं बद्धुं यत्नं चैवाकरोत्तदा । ब्राह्मणस्स गृहस्वामी मुनयो दुग्धलालसः
vatsaṃ kīle svayaṃ baddhuṃ yatnaṃ caivākarottadā | brāhmaṇassa gṛhasvāmī munayo dugdhalālasaḥ
Então, o brāhmaṇa, senhor da casa, esforçou-se ele mesmo para amarrar o bezerro a uma estaca. Enquanto isso, os sábios—ávidos por leite—observavam, atentos a receber o necessário para o rito e a hospitalidade.
