abhyarcya gandhapuṣpādyairdhūpadīpau pradarśya ca | saṃrakṣāstreṇa taṃ śaṃkhaṃ varmaṇāthāvaguṇṭhayet

Translation

Tendo-o adorado com fragrâncias, flores e afins, e tendo oferecido incenso e lâmpada, proteja-se essa concha com o Mantra-Arma de Proteção (saṃrakṣāstra) e vele-se com a ‘armadura’ espiritual (kavaca), para que o rito permaneça guardado e apto ao culto de Śiva.
